There are many things to see and do in the Cashel area along with plenty of short drives. Locally there's the Rock of Cashel, the Cashel Palace Hotel (formerly Archbishop's Residence), Hore Abbey,  Athassel Priory, Domnicks Abbey and Folk village,  the Bolton Library with its smallest book in world, Bru Boru show and underground for history of music. Scenic drives include the Vee & Glen of Aherlow just to name a few. Not far is Cahir Castle, the Swiss Cottage, Holy Cross Abbey with the relic of the true Cross, Mitchelstown Caves, Coolmore Stud Farm and many arts & crafts centers. 

It's perfect location makes it an ideal place to stay for those wanting a peaceful close to town experience and a great make a"base" to see all the wonderful sights and attractions nearby.
